There has been a lot of news coverage about Brexit but personally I think that both for and against commentators have made at time alarmist comments; all with the aim of supporting their view; no one seems to be able to give a balanced view.
I want to share this report with you. It was commissioned by Woodford Investment Management and it explains in a balanced way the potential impact of a vote to leave the European Union – or Brexit. It has been produced to be suitable for advisers and clients; personally, it is probably the best document I have read on this topic. Woodford Investment Management is a company started by Neil Woodford CBE in 2014. Prior to this he had more than 26 successful years as a Fund Manager at Invesco Perpetual and he is well respected within the industry and I am sure that many of you will have heard of him (and probably invested in his funds!) – I certainly have mentioned him to many of our clients during review meetings.
