About The Team

We are proud of our team of over 90 talented employees working across accounting, tax, audit, outsourcing, financial planning and support services. The departments are lead by the partners and senior management team below.

  • Kirk works across our Accounting, Audit and Tax Departments and specialises in advising start-up businesses. He graduated with an Economics, Accounting and Law degree and then qualified as an ACA Accountant at BDO Binder Hamlyn.   • Maxine oversees our Outsourcing and HR services with over 25 years’ experience. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and joined Kirk Rice in 1994, becoming a partner in 2002. She continues to grow the range of our outsourcing, payroll and HR services, qualifying as a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) in 2013.   • Graham has over 30 years of experience acting for SMEs, providing accounting, audit, tax and business advice. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor. He joined Kirk Rice in 1998, became a Partner in 2002, and has been instrumental in broadening the range of services offered. Graham is married and has 3 sons.   • As a Chartered Financial Planner, Peter heads up our Financial Services Department. His career in financial services started in 1990 and as an Independent Financial Advisor he adopts a holistic approach to advising clients.   • Susan graduated with a BSc in Chemistry and joined Kirk Rice as a trainee accountant in May 2000, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2003. She went on to become a partner in 2014 and works alongside fellow partner, Maxine to drive the Outsourcing department from strength to strength.   • Tim works in our General Practice and Audit Department. He specialises in small and medium enterprise (SME) financial reporting, taxation and audit, as well as providing more general business consulting. He joined Kirk Rice in 2002 after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Tim’s a Palace fan, aquarist, keen astronomer and hi-fi nerd, as well as a father of three.   • Hadley looks after personal tax matters for many of our clients, as well as the tax compliance obligations for the estates of deceased individuals. He joined the firm in 2004, and is a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians. Hadley is married with two daughters, is a church organist, pianist and singer.   • James mainly advises SME’s and sole traders in business, accounting and tax matters. He joined back in 2004, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. James has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University, and in his spare time he can be found on the golf course or watching sport.   • Viru is a Chartered Tax Advisor with over 30 years experience in UK tax, gained in small and mid sized firms. He advises businesses from large corporates to owner-managed businesses on a wide range of issues, including M & A’s, exit strategies, restructures and employee share schemes.Viru joined Kirk Rice as Tax Partner in 2017 to further bolster the tax team.   • Michael is a Chartered Financial Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist. He, often working together with colleagues for our clients, looks after the financial advice needs, including employee benefits and workplace pensions for business owners and wealth and estate planning for individuals.   • Kal is a Chartered Accountant based in our London office. He has over 25 years’ experience in providing accounting, audit, assurance and advisory services to International Group Companies and owner-managed businesses.   • David qualified as a Chartered accountant with ICAEW in 2005 and became a Fellow of the Institute in 2015. He joined Kirk Rice in 2016 as Audit and Accounts Manager with over 10 years experience in acting for owner managed businesses, predominately working in audit and taxation compliance work.   • Kirsty joined the firm in 2001 and completed her FCCA training in 2006. As a Partner she manages our outsourced accounting department, providing an in-house finance function to a range of clients. She is heavily involved in assisting non-profit clients with their day to day accounting needs and also manages project work such as, design of finance processes and procedures, move to digital software.   • Alex is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant with over 15 years experience in tax. He joined Kirk Rice in 2021. Alex advises businesses ranging from small and medium sized firms to large groups and has particular experience in corporate restructures, share schemes and M&A advice.   • While Amanda has over 15years of tax experience, she started out managing investment portfolios for high net worth clients. Only after a short career break (to have a family) did she move across into taxation. She joined Kirk Rice in 2006.   • Amy joined us in 2012 and immediately set out to study ACA, she’s thrilled to have now passed her final exams! Before joining Kirk Rice she studied for a BA Honours in Accounting and Finance at Kingston University.   • Chloe joined the Financial Services industry in 2007; her background of paraplanning has led to a natural progression into the Financial Planner role. She holds Chartered and Fellow status with the CII and is a Pension Transfer Specialist. Chloe provides holistic financial advice including cashflow planning for clients.   • Gauhar joined the General Practice team in 2017. He comes with extensive experience around SMEs, OMBs and various areas of practice. He likes challenging jobs and interesting clients and is keen on further development. Out of hours, his world revolves around good food, amateur photography, watching TV shows and movies and most importantly, his family. He aspires to do more for those less fortunate.   • Jamie joined Kirk Rice in 2020 and works in our General Practice department. Jamie studied Accounting and Economics at the University of Southampton before training as a Chartered Certified Accountant with a regional firm in Somerset. Jamie moved to Berkshire in 2019 in order to live with his partner, who he met at university. Outside of work, Jamie is an avid football fan (Liverpool supporter!).   • - Jane joined Kirk Rice in September 2023 to work as a Senior Manager in the personal tax team. Jane is a qualified Chartered Tax advisor with over 25 years of experience in personal tax. She has a particular interest in international and cross-border personal and employee tax issues. Jane spends her spare time with her family, gardening and running.   • Jonathan is a Manager in our Outsourcing Department joining us in 2007. He completed his ACCA training with Kirk Rice following his graduation from The University of Reading, with a 2:1 in Accounting and Management.   • Nicola looks after a number of accounting, tax and trust clients in addition to managing our payroll and VAT return services from our Putney office. She joined us in 2000 as an AAT trainee and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2006. She has since worked across all areas of the practice.   • As a Director in our General Practice Department Sarah has worked with many of Kirk Rice clients. As well as her time in General Practice she spent 7 years in our Outsourcing Department. She qualified as an ACCA Accountant in 2004 and has over 20 years experience. In her spare time Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit and if she gets time relaxing with a good book.
