Having confidence in financial information and ensuring statutory compliance is a prerequisite for any professional practice and its stakeholders.  In an ever increasingly regulated and changing environment, our Professional Practices Group regularly provides specialist advice and reporting in the following areas:

• statutory audit for LLPs – including a detailed understanding of the complexities of the LLP SORP and company law
• review of partnership accounts to an agreed scope -  as agreed by the partners and in accordance with the partnership deed
• statutory audit for Incorporated practices
• advice on accounting policies - understanding the tensions between accounting standards and equity between generations, recommending possible equitable adjustments between partners/partner generations
• providing Accountants’ Reports where required by regulators e.g. The Solicitors’ Regulatory Authority – by a dedicated team of experts familiar with the specific rules to enable completion of these reports
• reporting to management on the operation and effectiveness of accounting systems and controls – and to report to management on findings to enable them to make informed decisions.
